this has gotta be the good life

getting started has always been the hardest part for me, so here goes nothing.

•i am a 23 year old girl, just trying to find my way in this big bad world.

•i love to run but i'm not a natural at it and never will be.

•i live in the bay area and can't imagine living anywhere else, even though i want to experience and travel the whole world.

•i love the beach and the water and anything to do with sunrise or sunset (as seen from the picture above on a cruise to mexico).

•im not married or even engaged but i know where i'm going on my honeymoon.

•i have no idea what i'm doing writing a blog.

•i have been dating the love of my for 3.5 years and it hasn't always been easy, but he is my best friend and i can't imagine my life without him. i don't regret a single thing that has happened to us because it has made us who we are today and i can't wait to see what else we experience together.

enough with the list, i feel like i'm warmed up enough now. i'm creating this blog so that i have a place to write, something i'm learning how much i like to do. i want to capture the little memories, the simple day to day joys, because after all that is what really matters in this amazing life.

so where does the title come from you ask? my little piece of heaven is a slice of red velvet cheesecake. to me, red velvet anything encompasses all the yummy, beautiful and wonderful things this world has to offer. despite sometimes feeling sad, angry and mad, i choose to look on the bright side. i choose to see the finer things this life has to offer, because i know firsthand just how limited our time here is. i know that tomorrow is not guaranteed.
